As a queer guy, growing up I never really saw men holding hands or showing any form of public affection. It’s such a simple gesture that has such a powerful meaning.

I created this artwork as a celebration of that simple gesture; holding hands. I made an artistic choice to change the arm colours to match the corresponding partner, which blend together where the two hands connect. Showing unity through colour, symbolising an everlasting bond.
